Case Study 02 - Parallel Hybrid Drive Platform

The following are reference platform configurations from our technology partner ecosystem, illustrating mature architectures for different applications.

Parallel hybrid drive platforms combine an internal combustion engine and an electric machine through an integrated transmission architecture, enabling multiple operating modes including pure electric driving, conventional engine driving and hybrid driving.

This architecture helps reduce fuel consumption and emissions while maintaining vehicle range, drivability and operational flexibility, making it suitable for commercial vehicle applications where full battery-electric solutions may not yet be the optimal pathway.

The following examples are provided as reference platform configurations and do not represent fixed product catalogues or Synwyn-owned products.

Representative Platform Resources

Selected representative platform resources covering different vehicle classes, duty cycles and operating requirements.

Final system selection and configuration will be defined based on customer application requirements, duty cycle, performance targets, interface constraints, compliance needs and supplier suitability.

Applications

  • 4.5–12T Light Trucks
  • 12–25T Trucks
  • 9–12m Coaches
  • 25–60T Heavy-Duty Trucks
