Case Study 01 - Transmission-Mounted Electric Drive Platform

The following are reference platform configurations from our technology partner ecosystem, illustrating mature architectures for different applications.

Transmission-mounted electric drive platforms leverage transmission-based speed reduction and torque multiplication to enable relatively compact motors to efficiently drive heavy-duty applications requiring high output torque.

This architecture helps balance motor size, drivability, efficiency and application cost while reducing system integration complexity, making it suitable for heavy-duty and high-load applications where torque demand, durability and operational efficiency are critical.

The following examples are provided as reference platform configurations and do not represent fixed product catalogues or Synwyn-owned products.

Representative Platform Resources

Selected representative platform resources covering different vehicle classes, duty cycles and operating requirements.

Final system selection and configuration will be defined based on customer application requirements, duty cycle, performance targets, interface constraints, compliance needs and supplier suitability.

Applications

  • Heavy-Duty Trucks over 18T

  • Medium & Heavy-Duty Trucks and Special Purpose Vehicles

  • 90–200T Mining Dump Trucks

  • Wheel Loaders
